airTEXT provides forecasts of air quality (air pollution), UV, pollen and maximum and minimum temperatures for Greater London, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Slough and Thurrock.

• • The air pollution forecast may be LOW, MODERATE, HIGH or VERY HIGH.
• • The UV index may be 1 to 2 (LOW), 3 to 5 (MODERATE), 6 to 7 (HIGH) or 8+ (VERY HIGH).
• • The pollen forecast is a daily grass pollen forecast and may be LOW, MODERATE, HIGH or VERY HIGH.

The air quality forecasts are produced using CERC's world-leading ADMS-Urban air quality model.

Weather and UV forecasts are supplied by DTN. The UV forecast gives the maximum hourly cloud-adjusted solar UV index over the day. The temperature forecast gives the minimum and maximum hourly temperatures predicted over a 24-hour period. The pollen forecast is supplied by the Met Office.
