There are now new ways to receive airTEXT alerts. To save money to keep this valuable public service going and free for everyone it would help if those who can switch to the new free app, twitter feed or text messages from twitter can do so. If you switch from the old airTEXT system to these new free modes please help us by
unsubscribing from the old system.
We don't want to lose any subscribers so please take a few minutes to see which option is best for you.

Download the free airTEXT smart phone app giving forecasts for today and tomorrow of pollution, UV, grass pollen and temperature.

Get free SMS alerts for your borough if you are on Orange, Vodafone, O2, 3 or Sure (CWC).
Simply text "follow airtext_name" to 86444 and you will receive alerts for your chosen Borough as free text messages. The list of available airtext_name can be found in the table below. For example, to receive alerts for Islington send the text message "follow airtext_ISLNGTN" to 86444.
This service is provided through Twitter. You do not need to sign up for Twitter in order to use it. Please check the Twitter website to check whether you can receive free alerts on your mobile network, and for their terms and conditions. We try to keep the above list of networks up-to-date, but you are advised to check Twitter for the latest information.
To unsubscribe from the Twitter SMS alerts, simply reply "STOP" to one of the messages.

Simply
send an e-mail with one of the following details: your email address, mobile phone number or landline on which you currently receive alerts and press send.
